OUR REVIEW

The PowerBoss pressure washer boasts a Honda GC190 187CC engine and offers a maximum pressure of 3100 PSI. It can produce around 2.7 gallons per minute, which is higher than some other leading brands. This unit is said to have a maintenance-free axial cam pump to make this unit easy to manage. It also has an easy start button to help start jobs quickly.

The Honda engine sits on a short 24 x 22.5 x 20.5-inch metal frame and two 10 inch never-flat pneumatic wheels. At the top is a metal handle, but no foam grip, for easily transporting around jobs. It includes a 24-foot hose and 4 interchangeable steel tips. Unlike other pressure washers, this model does not have a 25-degree tip. However, it does have an integrated chemical tank for increased cleaning potential.

The PowerBoss pressure washer also includes a 2-year warranty and a 3-month commercial warranty. It is an easier unit to assemble than most, as it only has two pieces to attach (chemical tank and grip handle). It weighs around 70 pounds, which isn’t as heavy as some other models. However, this unit makes up for its weight with its high powered engine. The price can vary in the $400.00 range as this unit is a Honda and is definitely made with quality in mind. For any professional or homeowner, this pressure washer does the job well with a minimalistic design. Because of its simplicity, this model doesn’t offer as many features as other models might, such as a tip storage solution. The tips are stored on the nozzle with a sliding plastic holder. The unit makes up for its lack of features with its high 3100 PSI and 2.7 gallons per minute.

Overall We'd Say

This is a great pressure washer for a homeowner, but maybe not for a full-time professional using it commercially. You probably need more than 3100 psi to conquer more intense jobs. We have heard of issues with leaking oil, but the service and warranty usually covers any of these issues. Very practical for jobs around the house, and it’s more compact design makes it easy to move.
